From what I’ve observed the 150g-ish binding category has the most variability on the models I see in the skin track. Superlights, R150s, Trofeo, and Gara Titan all seem to be equally represented in the PNW. I imagine people are less brand or feature loyal the leaner the binding system gets. I know I have both a Plum and a Ski Trab in this category and I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite.
The more “freeride” the binding gets however, people seem to get evangelical about their choices.
