You know, keeping a wild animal in city limits… that ain’t legal either.

The more you know! I had no clue there were so many data points but I’m left with more questions…why is Phil the official spokes-hog when he’s wrong so often? Why are WY and NV the only western states to participate and PA hogs the coverage and has 5? Does PETA promote the taxidermied groundhogs? Can skiers help and publicize whether we witness a marmot seeing their shadow? Mostly though, how can WV say Charlie is right 65% of the time if he’s never been seen?!

Update: I found a website with a map that shows all 78 prognosticators and now I’m heading down the rabbit hole, or groundhog burrow…

Another shiny object got in my path but check out http://www.groundhog-day.com/map
It shows all the purported seers around the country and their predictions. The west could use some more representatives because Quincy’s Chuck Wood and Stumptown Phil disagree.

In Utah, at least, this is the lowest snow in recorded history. Thats not really groundhog day thats new material, new territory. A nightmare just starting to come into clarity.
