4SAW is an annual gathering for avalanche practitioners, mountain professionals and backcountry recreationists held in the Southern Rocky Mountains & Southwest United States. 4SAW includes a full line-up of speakers, workshops, clinics, exhibitors & activities focused on snow, avalanches, backcountry rescue & winter recreation. 4SAW is designed and hosted each year by the Silverton Avalanche School.
Sign up/Registration : cost for this one-day event is $35.00. The event begins at 8A.
As a bonus, the organizers are offering a free Digital Mapping Event with CalTopo on Oct. 5. titled, LEVERAGING DIGITAL MAPPING TOOLS FOR WINTER BACKCOUNTRY TRAVEL.
